Provide the Young Survival Coalition Newly Diagnosed Navigator to 25 young women facing a breast cancer diagnosis.
Created to educate and empower newly diagnosed young women, the comprehensive Treatment Navigator guidebook includes an easy-to-understand breast cancer glossary, questions to ask healthcare teams, and inspiring messages from young women who’ve been down this road. Fund a facilitated online video support group for 50 young women who are either too sick to travel or who live in remote areas.
With help from a computer, tablet, or phone, individuals can connect online with other young women affected by breast cancer across the country. Three different groups provide targeted support for women in treatment, women under 30, and women with metastatic breast cancer. Find support, information, and inspiration while sharing experiences.
Fund 24 in-person meetups for young breast cancer survivors to connect with each other in their local communities.
Local YSC Face 2 Face networks (YSC F2F) are support and networking for Young Women Affected by Breast Cancer (YWABC). YSC F2F networks are local grassroots groups that allow young women in each community to connect! Face 2 Face meetups help young women find the priceless support, wisdom, and understanding that only fellow survivors can provide.
